2026–27 SEASON

ELEVATING THE STUDENT-ATHLETE EXPERIENCE

Dakota Wesleyan University Men’s Basketball is seeking donations to support our program for the 2026–27 season.

As our program continues to grow, we are committed to providing our student-athletes with a first-class experience both on and off the court. This year, we are making several exciting investments in our program, and the support of our alumni, fans, families, and community will help make them possible.

Your support will directly help us elevate the student-athlete experience in the following areas:

INVESTING IN OUR JUNIOR VARSITY PROGRAM

We pride ourselves on providing our JV student-athletes with as many opportunities to compete as possible. Our Junior Varsity team will play all of its home games at the Corn Palace this season and will permanently move into a DWU Basketball locker room inside the Corn Palace, allowing our entire program to operate under one roof.

Playing a full JV schedule also comes with additional costs. Donations will help us ensure that officials and table workers are provided and supported at every JV home game, allowing us to continue offering our developing players a quality college basketball experience.

RENOVATED VARSITY LOCKER ROOM

Our Varsity team will move into a newly renovated locker room at the Corn Palace featuring new paint, new carpet, and new chairs. We want our locker room to be a space our players are proud of and one that reflects the tradition and expectations of DWU Basketball.

PLAYER NUTRITION STATION

We are adding a refrigerator and nutrition station inside the Corn Palace. This will allow us to keep drinks, snacks, recovery options, and other nutritional resources readily available to our players before and after practices and games.

VARSITY TEAM TRIP TO FLORIDA

Our Varsity team will travel to Florida for a two-game classic during the 2026–27 season. Beyond the basketball, trips like this give our student-athletes an opportunity to travel, compete against new opponents, build lifelong memories with their teammates, and represent Dakota Wesleyan University on a larger stage.

Every dollar raised will help us continue to build an environment that our student-athletes are proud to be a part of.

Our goal is bigger than winning basketball games. We want our players to leave Dakota Wesleyan knowing they were part of something special and that the people surrounding our program were invested in their experience and their success.
