Why We’re Raising Funds for Waverly Warriors Wrestling Club

 

The Waverly Warriors Wrestling Club is more than just a place to learn takedowns and pin combinations, it is a family. It is a home for young athletes who are learning discipline, confidence, and resilience—skills that last far beyond the wrestling mat. For many of our kids, this club is their safe place. It’s where they learn to believe in themselves. It’s where they discover that hard work matters. It’s where they are surrounded by coaches and teammates who care about them as people, not just as athletes.
 
Every practice teaches more than wrestling. Our athletes learn:
How to work through challenges,
How to respect others,
How to handle wins and losses with pride, and
How to never quit on themselves.
 
Building strong young athletes takes more than passion, it takes resources.
 
Why We Need Your Support
 
Running a youth wrestling program comes with real costs, including:
Help with tournament fee's,
Practice equipment and mats,
Gear to loan out: singlets, shoes, and headgear,
Insurance and safety expenses, 
Financial assistance for families in need.
 
We never want money to be the reason a child can’t wrestle. Your support helps ensure that every child—regardless of financial situation—has the opportunity to train, compete, and grow with our team.
