We're proud to announce that Lemon Bay High School NJROTC was named the "Most Improved Unit" across 22 schools in Florida! Our hard work also earned us the prestigious Unit Achievement Award last year. Our exceptional cadets proudly volunteer their time and perform with the Color Guard Team to support local veterans and community events. Help us maintain this momentum and keep our program growing!

JROTC is the largest youth program in U.S. high schools, teaching students leadership, self-discipline, natural sciences, business and life skills. There is no military obligation to participate.  For though who want to serve, Lemon Bay is an amazing opportunity for students.  Last fall 5 of our Cadets had nominations to the U.S. Service academies and 3 were selected!  (https://lbhs.yourcharlotteschools.net/121463_2)

Your generous contribution will help us with our biggest needs: specialized equipment and travel funds for our competitive teams. 

Where Your Donation Goes:

Drone Team: Help us purchase 3D printers, CAD software, racing simulators and drone building materials for our new STEM-focused drone team to design, build, and race drones in state and national competitions. We have both arial (air-based) and water-based vehicles. The program is low-cost, with easily accessible parts. Students learn best by doing!

Marksmanship Team: Your support helps cover travel and supplies for our cadets who compete with pellet air rifles and with it create opportunities to earn scholarships.

Orienteering Team: Help us cover travel expenses for our top-tier team of over 18 members who navigate cross-country courses with a map and compass.  Because we compete throughout the state, one school bus can cost as much as $1200.00 for one trip/one competition.

Academic Team: We made it to state competitions last year. We need software licenses and travel funds for our growing team to compete in academic challenges.

Educational Field Trips: Your support can help pay for entrance fees, housing, food, and travel expenses for educational field trips, a crucial part of our program that was limited by hurricanes last year.
