The Franklin High School Color Guard is more than a performance team — we are a family built on dedication, creativity, and pride in representing our school and community.

Color Guard blends dance, athleticism, and theatrical storytelling through movement and equipment such as flags, rifles, and sabers. Each season, our performers train with focus and discipline to bring powerful visual productions to life on the competition floor and football field.

Our program continues to grow as we rebuild with purpose. Students step into leadership roles, veterans mentor new members, and our team culture is rooted in accountability, teamwork, and supporting one another. Every rehearsal is an opportunity to improve, every performance is a chance to connect with an audience, and every season helps shape confident, resilient young leaders.

To create meaningful and competitive productions, we rely on fundraising and community support. Donations help us provide essential items and experiences for our performers, including:

- Uniforms and costume pieces
 

- Flags and performance equipment
 

- Backdrops and staging props
 

- Prop design and construction materials
 

- Competition registration fees
 

- Professional creative staff stipends
 

- Drill writing and choreography design
 

- Sync licensing for performance music
 

- Everyday supplies like electrical tape and equipment maintenance materials
 

We are also working toward purchasing a new performance floor for next season. A quality floor protects our students, enhances the visual design of our show, and creates a professional performance environment. These floors can cost up to $1,500, making community support especially meaningful.

These resources ensure our students have safe, high-quality equipment and the professional guidance needed to perform at their best.
