Why We Need YOUR SUPPORT:

Our Whitmer High School Football program is hosting our 10th annual Lift-A-Thon to emphasize the importance of our off-season workouts, celebrate the gains our athletes have made this offseason while offering an opportunity for supporters to support the student-athletes that make our program so special. All money raised will directly benefit the student-athletes of the 2026 Whitmer Football program. 

Purpose:

The health, safety and opportunities of our student-athletes are of the highest priority in our Whitmer Football Program. Last year, with the help of generous Lift-A-Thon donations, we were able to purchase more Guardian Caps for helmets (reduce impact of head collisions), Titan GPS Vests (track athlete output for player performance to reduce injuries), Laundry Loops (allowed us to wash equipment helping families do one less thing), a new Drone for filming practices/games, new field equipment and team meals.

Major expenses are incurred to operate a Championship Football program. This year, with the help of your support, the proceeds of the 2026 Lift-A-Thon will go towards multiple items to help prioritize the health, safety and opportunities of our student-athletes. 

We will purchase the following items:

- More Titan GPS Vests (click link for more info- reduces injury risk, enhance performance)

- New Field Equipment like Pads, Med Balls, Boards, Chutes, etc.

- New Weight Room & Technology Purchases (Vertical Jump & Speed Testing Equipment)

- Team Videographer (Off-Season, Special Event & Game Highlights)

- Team Graphic Designer (Team Graphics, Player Graphics, etc.) 

- Team Meals 

Event Description:

All of our Student-Athletes will seek sponsors to donate any amount towards our Lift-A-Thon. Flat donations can be made in any dollar amount. Last year, sponsors donated anything from $25 to $250 dollars for the Student-Athlete they sponsored. 

Our Student-Athletes will participate in the following max-out lifts:

-Bench Press

-Squat

-Power Clean

-Deadlift

When/Where:

The 2026 Whitmer High School Football program Lift-A-Thon will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9:00am until around 11:30am in the Whitmer High School Weightroom. We encourage all sponsors to come out and cheer on our Student-Athletes!!!
